IT’s ABOUT
creating a feeling.
Tasmania is wild, rugged and incredibly beautiful. It’s a hub for the arts, a place for the free and a leader of progression. Of course, you already know all of that so I’ll cut to the chase. I want to produce motion and imagery that is going to connect. Not just with those who already know and love Tassie but with those who dare to explore. The students on uni break, the young family testing the waters with their first trip away and the hardcore adventure lovers eager to discover the West Coast. I want to capture the feeling of curiosity, the thrill of adventure and the excitement of experiencing somewhere for the first time. I want to capture real emotion that makes us human.
WHO AM I? I might not be an entirely new face, I worked with Tourism Tasmania during the Unconformity Festival back in 2018 and earlier this year you guys licensed one of my favourite images from a sunrise at the summit of Mt Amos. Other than that I’ve spent quite a bit of time cruising around Tassie, hiking on the west coast, admiring the old growth forests of the Tarkine, road tripping down the east coast and hanging out around Freycinet.
I’m a DOP, Director and Photographer working predominantly in the Tourism and Adventure industries. I’ve worked alongside Vanuatu Tourism, Japan National Tourism Organisation, Tourism Australia, Visit Victoria and Destination NSW. I’ve also had the pleasure of collaborating with some of my favourite brands including The North Face, QANTAS, Jeep & Lexus Australia.
I am inspired by outdoors and my time in the wild has had a heavy influence on my body of work, throughout which I aim to evoke a feeling within my audience, trigger curiosity and connect with our inner artist. I share an authentic approach to storytelling and a cinematic approach to film making, I enjoy seeking unique angles and harnessing natural ambient light to leave a lasting impression on my viewers.

WHAT CAN we create together?
As a DOP, Photographer and Director I’m able to create anything from stills to social videos and all of the way through TVC’s. I’ve established the skillset required to handle all stages of a production, from pre-prod all the way through to post processing I can bring a project to life.
You might have recognized some of Tasmania’s beautiful wilderness in the stills and video that you can see on this page, most of it has been shot in Tassie.
